Unlike similar products that require multiple adjustments, complicated operation and longer operational times, the “FITITRITE” is fast and simple to use. It has only one adjustment to perform it’s primary function of almost perfect alignment of a pipe to a fitting in preparation of welding the components together. The “FITITRITE” also reshapes pipe ends that have been flattened and rendered out of it’s manufactured dimensional concentricity from shipping, improper storage, handling, etc. It works on all thin wall, as well as standard steel, 5”- 12” piping, including 90 and 45 degree elbows. The all steel construction makes it almost indestructible and capable of enduring repetitive tough jobs, yet lightweight enough to be portable and easy to use by one person. In test usage, completion times of difficult weldments have been reduced by app. 50% - 60% or better with the unique assistance provided by the “FITITRITE”.
